Q1. What is the exact location of The Desert Haveli Resort and Camp?
Ans. Haveli resort is located on the Jodhpur Jaislmer Highway (NH-114). The
Desert Haveli Resort is located 94 kms from Jodhpur (1.45 hour driving time) between
Jodhpur and Jaislmer. The nearest airport and railway station is at Jodhpur. It
is 192 km (3 hours driving time) from Jaislmer. Haveli camp is located
6 kms from
the resort inside the desert.
Q2. What is the difference between Desert Haveli resort and Desert Haveli camp?
Ans. Desert Haveli resort consist of 15 cottages, restaurant, garden and
conference hall. This is operational throughout the year. Clients staying at The
Desert Haveli camp have to first report at the Haveli resort. The Desert Haveli
camps are located 6 kms away from the Desert Haveli resort. It consists of 15 deluxe
tenets. The size of each tent is 14 x 14 feet along with 14 x 7 feet verandah attached
with bathrooms with the measurement of 14 x 7 feet. The guests are provided with
one extra bed, with the facility of meals served in dinning hall. Guests are provided
with cars to reach the base of the site. The camp is operational from October to
last of March.
Q3. How could guests reach to the resort?
Ans. Pick and drop facility from Jodhpur to Jaislmer is provided to the clients on bases of extra charges.

Ans. The best time to visit is from October to March and the camp is fully operational during this period.

Ans. The restaurant at the resort serves Traditional Indian and traditional Rajasthani cuisine from the family kitchen with the farm fresh vegetables.

Q7. Can I cancel my reservation?
Ans. If you wish to cancel your reservation, you can either email us or send a fax 10 days prior to the check in date. No refunds are done if cancellation is not requested 10 days prior to the check in date. We do not accept cancellations on Phone.
Q8. What are the safety precautions during the Safaris?
Ans. Adventure activities are inherently risky and Desert Haveli accepts no responsibility or liability arising from these activities. Guests should carry their own hats during the jeep and camel safaris. They should also take complete care of their children.
